Biography

Charlie Robinson was a renowned American actor known for his iconic role as Macintosh "Mac" Robinson on the NBC sitcom Night Court, which aired from Seasons 2 to 9. A Vietnam War veteran, he drew from his experiences in his portrayal of the court clerk. Before his acting career took off, Robinson sang with various groups, including Archie Bell and the Drells, before pursuing an acting career. He also appeared in several early films under different stage names.
