Monte Landis was a Scottish-American actor known for his comedic roles in films and television shows. He gained recognition for playing the eccentric "Mr. Zero" in The Monkees' episode "The Devil and Peter Tork". Landis began his career in Britain before moving to the US, where he appeared in notable films like Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Double Trouble, and Young Frankenstein.
