Biography
Marc Michel was a French-Swiss actor, best known for his iconic roles in French cinema of the 1960s. He played the endearing and lovesick writer Roland Cassard in Jacques Demy's "Lola" (1961) and "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" (1964), as well as a pivotal role in Jacques Becker's "Le Trou" (1960). This trilogy of films cemented his status as a French film icon.
