Andrew John Maxton Cruickshank was a Scottish actor born on December 25, 1907, in Aberdeen. He gained fame for his portrayal of Dr Cameron in the long-running UK BBC television series Dr. Finlay's Casebook, which ran from 1962 to 1971. Notable film roles include Lord Provost in "Greyfriars Bobby: The True Story of a Dog" and McKillup in "There Was a Crooked Man".
