Hans Hirschmüller

Biography

Hans Hirschmüller is a German author, director, and actor born on March 15, 1940, in Romania. He co-founded the Aktion-Theater with Ursula Strätz and Horst Söhnlein in 1967. Notable highlights of his career include starring roles in Rainer Werner Fassbinder's "Katzelmacher" (1969) and directing Händler der vier Jahreszeiten, for which he won the Bundesfilmpreis in 1972.
