Love Is Colder Than Death

"Love Is Colder Than Death" follows petty hood Franz Walsch (Rainer Werner Fassbinder), who is caught in a love-triangle with sex worker Joanna (Hanna Schygulla) and her pimp, Franz himself. When Bruno Straub (Ulli Lommel), a gangster sent by a shady crime syndicate, arrives on the scene, tensions rise as he tries to resolve the situation while also navigating his own desires for Joanna. As the story unfolds, the three characters become embroiled in a violent confrontation that will determine their fates.
