Biography

Ulli Lommel was a German actor and director known for his collaborations with Rainer Werner Fassbinder and his association with the New German Cinema movement. He spent time at The Factory and worked with Andy Warhol on several films and art projects, before moving to the US in 1977 where he created over 50 films. Lommel's early career included roles in Russ Meyer's "Fanny Hill" and Fassbinder's directorial debut "Love Is Colder Than Death".
