Chinese Roulette

Ariane and Gerhard Christ, a wealthy Munich couple, plan for the weekend on separate trips, lying to the other about their trysts. However, their itineraries are complicated when they both arrive at the family's country home with their respective lovers. Anna Karina plays Irene Cartis, Gerhard's mistress, while Margit Carstensen stars as Ariane Christ, her husband's infidel. The film's climax features a truth-guessing game, Chinese Roulette, which exposes the couple's adulterous relationships and leads to a night of suspenseful revelation.
