Brigitte Mira was a German actress born in Hamburg who later moved to Berlin. She gained notoriety for her role in the Nazi propaganda series Liese und Miese, which she portrayed with skill to humanize the "bad" character despite being half-Jewish and having false papers. Her notable performances include winning a German Film Award for Emmi Kurowski in Fear Eats the Soul (1974) and starring in the successful television series Drei Damen vom Grill in the 1980s.
