Jim Byrnes is a blues musician and actor born on September 22, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri. He is known for his roles as FBI agent Daniel "Lifeguard" Burroughs on Wiseguy and Joe Dawson in the Highlander franchise. Byrnes won three Juno Awards for Blues Album of the Year and was nominated for a Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Harmony Cats.
