Jeremy Scahill is an American investigative journalist and author, best known for founding The Intercept, a leading online news publication. His book "Dirty Wars" was adapted into a documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for the 2014 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. A Fellow at the Type Media Center, Scahill is also the founder of Drop Site News, a podcasting platform he co-founded in July 2024 with Ryan Grim and Nausicaa Renner.
