Biography

Kulbhushan Kharbanda is a veteran Indian actor, born on October 21, 1944. He began his career in the theatre world with the Delhi-based group Borkh in 1974 and later joined Yatrik and Padatik theatre groups in Kolkata, where he worked extensively in Hindi theatre. He made his mark in parallel cinema films before transitioning to mainstream Bollywood, appearing in notable projects like Arth (1982) and Deepa Mehta's Elements trilogy.
