Monsoon Wedding

A stressed father, Naseeruddin Shah as Lalit Verma, and his wife Pimmi, Lillete Dubey, help organize an enormous wedding in modern India, but complications arise when Aditi, their daughter, reveals a secret to her fiancé, Hemant Rai, played by Parvin Dabas. Meanwhile, Tej, the family's wealthy brother-in-law, harbors a dark secret involving his younger relative, and P.K. Dubey, the eccentric wedding planner, falls in love with the maid, Alice. As the wedding preparations unfold, family secrets and scandals surface, testing the relationships between the extended family members.
