Raoul Bova

Biography

Raoul Bova is an Italian actor born on 14 August 1971 in Rome to Calabrian parents. At the age of 16 he became a local champion in the 100 meter backstroke and at 21 joined the Italian Army as a Bersaglieri sharpshooter. He studied acting with Michael Margotta and later enrolled in the ISEF, but dropped out to pursue a career in acting. In March 2000, he married Chiara Giordano, with whom he has three children.
