Biography

Muriel George was a talented English singer and film actress born on August 29, 1883, in Marylebone, London. She began her performing career at a young age, making her West End debut at 16 in Harry Pelissier's troupe, The Follies. She later toured with The Ragamuffins and performed at the Apollo Theatre, before transitioning to film in the 1930s, starring in notable roles including Lady Oswington in "Last Holiday" (1950).
