John Galliano

Biography

Juan Carlos Antonio Galliano-Guillén, born in Gibraltar in 1960, rose to prominence with his graduate collection 'Les Incroyables' for Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design in 1984. He became a trailblazer in the fashion industry as the first Brit to design for Givenchy and Christian Dior, before being appointed artistic director at Maison Margiela in 2014. Galliano has received critical acclaim and won British Designer of the Year four times.
