Jiří Plachý

Biography

Jiří Plachý was a Czech actor, director, and drama pedagogue, known for his roles in "Krakatit" (1948) and his work with the Švandov theatre company. A seasoned performer since his student years, he also briefly acted at Národní divadla before becoming a regular fixture at Švandov's Smíchov division. Plachý's career spanned both stage and screen, cementing his reputation as a talented theatrical figure in Czechoslovakia.
