Müjdat Gezen

Biography

Müjdat Gezen is a Turkish theatre actor and writer born in Istanbul on October 1943. He began his career in the theatre section of İstanbul Municipality Conservatory after graduating from Vefa High School, where he met lifelong friends Uğur Dündar and Kemal Sunal. In 1982, he founded a publishing company following the military coup that banned his book about poet Nazim Hikmet.
