Koda Kumi, a Japanese singer from Kyoto, was born on November 13, 1982, into a family of musicians. She gained fame in 2003 with the themes for the video game Final Fantasy X-2 and became a fashion leader among young women with her ero-kakkoii style. Her popularity grew with album releases including "Secret" (2005) and single hits like "Butterfly" (2005).
