Biography

Masao Imafuku was a Japanese actor born on April 8, 1921, in Fukuoka City, Japan. He began his career after World War II, landing roles in radio dramas and eventually transitioning to television and film. In the 1960s, he won a prize for his male lead performances at the Nihon Hoso Gyosha Awards. Known for his distinctive portrayal of down-to-earth characters, Imafuku passed away on May 27, 2015, at the age of 94.
