Tokkan

In the midst of the Meiji Restoration's military phase, Sentaro joins a local militia loyal to the Tokugawa Shogunate to fight Imperial troops. He befriends a pickpocket, Manjiro, who switches sides frequently, leading to complications that put Sentaro's life at risk as they infiltrate enemy lines. Sentaro's friendship with Manjiro is complicated, and the two are pitted against each other as they navigate the treacherous landscape of the Boshin War.
