Kotaro Yoshida

Biography

Kōtarō Yoshida (born January 14, 1959) is a Japanese actor and theatre director. He co-founded Performance Unit AUN in 1997 and became the second artistic director of the Sai no Kuni Shakespeare Series in 2016, succeeding Yukio Ninagawa. Before establishing himself on stage, Yoshida began his acting career after being inspired by a high school production of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night".
