Shintarō Nanjō was a Japanese actor born on March 20, 1917, in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. He debuted in 1937 with New Kineja's "吉田御殿" and gained prominence for his roles in the film series "旗本伝法" and "岡野金右衛門." After a hiatus during World War II, Nanjō returned to acting in 1947 and continued working until the 1970s, including notable appearances in films like "戒厳令" (1973). His later life is shrouded in mystery after his last public appearance in 1979.
