Akai shuriken

The film "Akai shuriken" (1965) tells the story of a ronin samurai named Ibuki-san who enters a town and sells his skills to the warring families. He falls in love with the beautiful horse stable owner but like all heroes, cannot stay. The movie is based on the short stories "掟破り" by Daizaburo Aoki, adapted from his collection "Kun Sen", and stars Raizō Ichikawa as Ibuki-san, a skilled swordsman who takes on three yakuza groups to protect a small town.
