Tang Guoqiang is a Chinese actor born on May 4, 1952, in Qingdao, Shandong. He began his acting career in performance troupes before making his film debut in 1975 as the male lead in Storm over the South China Sea. Tang gained fame with roles in Little Flower (1979), Peacock Princess (1982), and Zhuge Liang in Romance of Three Kingdoms (1990), establishing himself as a specialist interpreting historic figures.
