William Michael "Billy" Zabka was born on October 20, 1965, in New York City to a family with ties to the entertainment industry. He gained recognition for his role as Johnny Lawrence in The Karate Kid (1984) and its sequels, later reprising the part in the Netflix series Cobra Kai (2018-2025). Zabka also co-wrote and produced the award-winning short film Most (2003), earning him an Academy Award nomination.
