Just One of the Guys

In this 1985 teen comedy, Joyce Hyser plays Terry Griffith, a high school student who decides to switch genders to prove that girls aren't held back by their looks. With her brother's help, she enrolls as a boy at a rival school and quickly befriends a socially awkward classmate, Rick (Clayton Rohner), whom she helps transform into a popular guy. As Terry navigates her new identity, she faces sexism, bullies, and unrequited love, all while trying to prove herself as more than just a pretty face.
