Biography

Everett McGill was born on October 21, 1945, in Miami Beach, Florida. He rose to prominence for his portrayal of a caveman in Quest for Fire (1981) and went on to have notable roles in Dune (1984), Silver Bullet (1985), and Licence to Kill (1989). McGill also had recurring appearances as "Big" Ed Hurley on Twin Peaks (1990–1991) before retiring from acting in 1999, resurfacing briefly for the revival series in 2017.
