Biography

Fyvush Finkel was a renowned American actor, best known for his iconic role as Mordcha in the original production of Fiddler on the Roof and his Emmy-winning portrayal of Douglas Wambaugh on Picket Fences. He also made notable appearances in Boston Public and various film roles, including Max in Game Day and Hearing Aid in The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars. A star of Yiddish theater for over thirty years, Finkel retired from acting after a 2007 production.
