Ziggy Gruber (played by himself) is the charismatic and knowledgeable owner of Kenny and Ziggy's, one of the country's top delis, sharing his passion for traditional Jewish deli cuisine. The film features Gruber visiting iconic delis across the US, including Carnegie, Katz's, and Nate 'n Al, and interviews with deli legends Jerry Stiller, Fyvush Finkel, Freddie Klein, Dennis Howard, and Jay Parker (Ben's Best), among others.
