Biography

Ryoko Sakaguchi was a Japanese actress born on October 23, 1955, in Ryesi, Hokkaido. She won the Miss Seventeen Contest at age 15 and began her career as a singer and actress, earning critical acclaim for roles in "The Devil's Island" (1977), "Proof of the Man" (1977), and "The Inugami Family" (1976). Sakaguchi appeared in numerous films and dramas throughout the 1970s, including "Pool Hall Gladiators" (1980) and "Sign is V" (1973). She passed away on March 27, 2013, at age 57 due to stomach cancer.
