Biography

Kasthuri Raja is an Indian filmmaker, lyricist, and actor born on August 8, 1951, in Theni. He is the father of actors and filmmakers Dhanush and Selvaraghavan, and prior to his film career, he worked in a mill before running away to Chennai. Raja directed village-based films and has also acted in several of his own productions, showcasing his versatility as a creative.
