Biography

Dave Thomas was a Canadian comedian and actor, best known as half of the duo Bob and Doug McKenzie with Rick Moranis. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on SCTV, appearing as Doug McKenzie in the sketch comedy series and film Strange Brew (1983), which he also co-directed. As part of the duo, they released two albums, earning a Grammy Award nomination and a Juno Award.
