Danica Mae McKellar was born on January 3, 1975, in La Jolla, California, and moved to Los Angeles with her family at the age of eight. She rose to fame for her role as Winnie Cooper in the television series The Wonder Years and later became a bestselling author of mathematics books that encourage middle-school girls' confidence and success in math. McKellar has since appeared in various TV films and voice acting roles, including DC Super Hero Girls.
