Biography

Tony Bancroft is a California native and alumnus of CalArts' character animation program. He began his career in the early 1990s at Disney Feature Animation, working on notable films such as "The Rescuers Down Under" and later joining Sony Imageworks and Toonious Family Entertainment, where he co-founded in 2001 as Executive VP/Creative Production. Bancroft's work has been featured in family-friendly animation projects like "Bunyan and Babe" (2017) and the documentary "Pencils vs Pixels" (2023).
