Twelve-year-old Travis Barclay and his little sister Whitney are sent begrudgingly on a summer trip to visit their grandparents' farm in Minnesota when they stumble upon a magic portal that transports them to the world of American hero Paul Bunyan and his big, blue, talking ox, Babe. Alongside the duo, Paul and Babe team up with the siblings to stop an evil land developer from destroying a town, navigating surreal landscapes and tall tales along the way.
