Whitney Cummings is a renowned American comedian and actress, born on September 4, 1982, in Washington D.C. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she began her career as a model and journalist before making a name for herself as a cast member on MTV's Punk'd. She has since become known for her groundbreaking gender-based comedy, co-creating hit shows like 2 Broke Girls and starring in her own sitcom Whitney, as well as directing the film The Female Brain.
