How It Ends

In a witty and strangely optimistic take on the apocalypse, "How It Ends" follows Liza (Zoe Lister-Jones) as she sets out to make peace with her past regrets on the eve of a giant asteroid wiping out Earth. Accompanied by her younger self, Liza embarks on a journey across Los Angeles, running into an eclectic cast of characters in a series of vignettes that facilitate a reality check amidst 2020 COVID-19 protocols. As they navigate the empty streets, the two versions of Liza tie up loose ends with friends and family before their time is up, finding balance and acceptance in the process.
