Biography

Dabbs Greer was a veteran character actor with over 60 years of experience in film and television. He appeared in nearly 100 films and nearly 600 TV episodes, playing memorable roles such as Coach Ossie Weiss in the sitcom Hank and Reverend Robert Alden in Little House on the Prairie. A natural fit for rustic characters and southern accents, Greer's distinctive voice became a hallmark of his career. His final film role was at 108 years old in The Green Mile.
