Fulton Mackay was a Scottish actor and playwright born in Paisley, Scotland on August 12, 1922. He trained as an actor at RADA before joining the Royal Air Force during World War II, where he served for five years including three in India. After the war, Mackay's notable stage work included performances with the Citizens' Theatre and the Arts Theatre Club in London.
