David Schramm

Biography

David Michael Schramm was born on August 14, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to a bookie father. He began acting at 17, with guidance from other actors and teachers, including John Houseman, who helped him secure a full scholarship to the Juilliard School. At Juilliard, he earned a scholarship before transitioning to film roles, including Lufkin in "Let It Ride" (1989) and Vic Dumask in "Johnny Handsome" (1989).
