Yvonne Bryceland

Biography

Yvonne Bryceland was a South African stage actress known for her work in Athol Fugard's plays. Her most notable role was Sister Luke in the 1989 film "Johnny Handsome". Prior to her professional career, she performed as an amateur at the Barn Theatre and had private lessons with acting teacher Rita Maas. Bryceland began her career as a newspaper librarian before joining the Cape Performing Arts Board in 1964.
