Harumi Sone was a Japanese actor and producer born on September 5, 1937, in Osaka. He gained recognition for his roles in "The Shogun Assassins" (1979), "Gozu" (2003), and "Message from Space" (1978). Sone also ventured into directing with the V-Sinema film "Rin'i Naki Yūsei" (1996) produced by his son, Harumi Sone Jr. He passed away on June 16, 2016, at age 78 due to bile duct cancer in Nagoya, Japan.
