Josef Abrhám

Biography

Josef Abrhám was a Czech film and theatre actor who graduated from DAMU in 1962. He gained critical acclaim for his performances at the Drama Club, where he anchored until 1992, before briefly performing at the National Theatre and leaving permanently in August 1994. His breakthrough role came in 1962 with director Brynych's Transport from Paradise, followed by notable appearances in The Scream and The Great Journey.
