Thom Hoffman is a Dutch actor and photographer born on March 3, 1957. He made his film debut in 1982 under director Theo van Gogh and has since appeared in over twenty roles in films and TV series, often playing complex characters. A skilled photographer as well, Hoffman has worked without formal training in both acting and photography since 1991, and was married to actress Giam Kwee from 2005 until his passing.
