He established himself as the "King of the Bs" starring in B-movies from the 1940s to the 1960s, before gaining recognition for his iconic role as Dr. Tom Horton on NBC's Days of Our Lives from 1965 until its end. Carey won two Daytime Emmy Awards during his tenure on the show.
