Comanche Territory

In 1950, White settlers plan to defy the agreement between the government and the Comanche to mine for silver on Comanche lands, while scout Jim Bowie tries to keep the peace in the territory, as played by Macdonald Carey. Maureen O'Hara stars alongside Bowie in the film, which explores tensions between Native American tribes and white settlers in a dramatic Western tale. The story is driven by Katie Howard (Maureen O'Hara), a saloon owner whose actions spark a conflict that may be difficult to resolve.
