Chuck Liddell is a former professional mixed martial artist born on December 17, 1969, in Santa Barbara, California. A UFC Light Heavyweight Champion from 2005 to 2007, he helped bring MMA into mainstream American sports and entertainment with fellow fighter Randy Couture. Liddell achieved notable success in both MMA and kickboxing, earning a 16-7 record in the UFC and a 20-2 record in kickboxing, before retiring in late 2010.
