William Simons

Biography

Clifford William Simons was a Welsh actor born on November 17, 1940, in Mumbles, South Wales. He is best known for his role as PC Alf Ventress in the long-running television drama Heartbeat, from 1992 to 2010. Initially typecast due to severe acne as a teenager, he later transitioned to acting and became a patron of Changing Faces, a charity supporting people with facial deformities.
