Lino Banfi

Biography

Lino Banfi was born Pasquale Zagaria on July 9, 1936, in Andria, Italy. He began his career as a local singer and fotoromanzi actor before moving to Milan and later Rome to pursue an acting career, initially performing in numerous stage shows. He made his film debut with minor roles in Lucio Fulci's films before becoming a regular character actor in Franco and Ciccio's comedies.
